About Baltcott – Baltic Cottage Agency
Baltcott – Baltic Cottage Agency was founded December 1st 2003. Our purpose is to give visitors a convenient way of finding affordable accommodation for somewhat longer stays in Estonia. This may not be a unique idea, but in summer 2003 I tried finding myself a cottage or apartment for three weeks’ stay. It proved awfully difficult despite a good knowledge of Estonian language.
In January 2006 we got started in Latvia as well and today we have a good selection of cottages and apartments in Latvia. We hope to continue growing quickly in Latvia and have an office in Riga to, with a local manager.
With Baltcott, we have the ambition of building a company we would ourselves enjoy turning to. When this ambition is fulfilled, I am convinced that (almost) all our customers will be happy they choose Baltcott.
The owners of Baltcott have great experience in building a successful business with Internet as a foundation for the marketing. I who run the business with my family have lived in Estonia for many years. Baltcott’s staff will gladly receive and answer your inquires in many different languages – English, Swedish, Finnish, Estonian and German for a start. Our office in Riga will gladly help you in Latvian as well.
Baltcott aims to ensure that all our customers have reasonable expectations about the vacation they have ordered and that these expectations are met or hopefully exceeded. We want our customers to be happy and commit ourselves to making them so.
We also see it as a priviledge to help Estonia and Latvia develop as tourism destination and it a great honour to us to show you what pleasant places for a vacation Estonia and Latvia are.
