Travelling to Estonia

By ferry
There are ferry connections to/from:
Stockholm - Tallinn
Kapellskär - Paldiski
Helsinki - Tallinn
Germany - Tallinn (check for current information)

By plane
Tallinn International Airport has connections to major European hubs. (check for current information)
Kuressaare Airport has connections to Helsinki and Stockholm (at least in summer, check for current information)
If you're going to rent a car, you may want to consider flying to Riga and driving from there. Riga has more connections, also with budget airlines than Tallinn and the drive from Riga to the Estonian border is some 1,5 hours.

By car
From continental Europe you drive through Berlin, Poland, Lithuania and Latvia. Roads have improved greatly in the last few years and border crossings are not too bad anymore. Still, it takes a long time to drive and it's recommended only for those who enjoy the road. Flying to Tallinn (or Riga) and renting a car is easy.

By ferry
There are ferry connections to/from:
Stockholm - Riga (Tallink ferry company)
Nynäshamn - Ventspils (Scandlines ferry company)
Karlshamn – Ventspils (Scandlines ferry company)
Rostock - Ventspils
Copenhagen - Klaipeda (Lithuania, but not far from border to Latvia)
Lübeck - Riga
Saaremaa – Ventspils (check for current information)

By plane
Riga International Airport is the largest in Baltic region and has connections to major European hubs. (check for current information). Riga has connections with budget airlines to cities in Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, Finland etc.

By car
