In the charming old resort of Haapsalu you find this fine old wooden house. It is a typical Estonian village-house in an enchanting little street lined by mainly small wooden houses. The house is just a short walk from the Haapsalu castle and the city centre, but still in a quiet street. The house is well renovated with several old details preserved. Behind the house there is a well-kept little garden surrounded by a fence guaranteeing your privacy when relaxing.
On the ground floor there is a large living-room, wellequipped kitchen, wc, shower and two bedrooms with 2 single beds each. In the kitchen you find both washing and laundry machine. On the first floor there is a sofa-bed for 2 people and a single bed. There is a smaller bathroom/wc on the second floor.
Haapsalu is situated on the shore of the Baltic sea with good opportunities for swimming. There is also a small, but interesting railroad museum, well worth a visit. And since the Estonians have known for a long time how relaxing a Haapsalu vacation is, there are many activities for tourists and good restaurants. Many cultural events are held in Haapsalu in the summertime.
Haapsalus is also an excellent choice for bird-lovers. Matsalu national park is situated some 20 km south of Haapsalu. In Matsalu 275 different spicies of birds have been observed.
