This is the house for those who love the sea. With view of the sea and private beach we find this house irresistible. It is a basic house with some charm 30 kilmeters from Saaremaa’s “capital” Kuressaare. It is located on the Sõrve peninsula on southwest Saaremaa. Built 1995 on a property stretching down to the sea-shore, looking east. A rowing boat is at your disposal at no additional cost. This boat is very useful when you want to go swimming/bathing because the shoreline is not inviting, but when you take the boat 20 meters out you reach a sand bank, just under the water surface and here is pleasant to swim and bathe. Two bicycles are also included in the rent.

The location is rather private with only a few neighbours, the nearest some 50 meters away. Behind the house is woods. On the ground floor you have an all-purpose room (kitchen, diningroom, livingroom) and the sauna-shower area. Up the stairs you find two bedrooms. Throughout this is a cosy and pleasant house, but the 10 years since it was built has left traces, everything is a little bit worn, but just a little.

On the large lawn there is a barbeque-hut where you can sit indoors as well as outdoors under roof. By the sea is a so called village swing, for 4-6 people (standing). For this house it is recommended that you bring fresh water for cooking and drinking from town. 5 liter bottles of water are available in all stores. The nearest store is some 16 km away in a small community.

The Sõrve peninsula is well-know by birdwatchers and there is plenty to see in the area, and of course all of Saaremaa is within easy reach. At the southern tip of Sõrve is a harbour with a regular ferry line to Ventspils in Latvia – a charming town.
