The Cottage is small two story wood log house. From the second floor greets sight to birch grove and the lake, witch is located approximately 200 m distance – ideal place for the rest with family in country side. Summer cottage is located near Ergli – which is village in the Vidzeme plateau, where is located Latvia’s highest hills, which commands scenic country (distance from Riga approximately 130 km).
Not so big hall with fireplace and music center, kitchen corner and sauna is located on the first floor. In the second floor there are three bed rooms with five double coaches, but those are quite narrow, so to sleep two together can be not very comfortable but it is not impossible. Small WC also for your convenience is also located there. As well as nice balcony, from witch commands scenic view to the nearest lake.
Near the house is small pond. Near by it you can put grill and sitting on stylizes garden furniture taste meal and watch sunset on the lake. You will not be disturbed by neighbors or other peoples, as the closest house is located some hundred meters distance from the cottage. Also road is located near by, but the cottage cannot be seen from there as is located behind hillock (as well as there cannot hear noise from the cars).
From cottage to and around the lake goes nice hiking path, to go as far as nearest museum devoted Latvian writer R.Blaumanis. In the museum and around there are quite representative collection of ancient tools and things coming from old times. There is an also nice swing which enjoys child. As well there are several nature paths what you can enjoy.
There is possibility to rent a boat from the cottage owner for fishing or enjoy of nature in the nearest lake. From the bank of lake plank-way is going into the lake, there you can comfortably fishing, swim or have a peaceful rest near by water.
