Right by the sea, with a splendid view! A charming one-floor cottage with the sea right in front of it. A rowing-bow is included in the rent and other boats can be rented – for fishing or for sailing. And dinner can be ordered and lots of activities are organized just a few hundred meters from the house for those who want an active vacation. Those who prefer peace and quiet will find it by the house. The cottage is also protected from sea breezes as it is situated by a bay – on a peninsula. To the south of the bay, the open sea can be seen. Swimming is a possibility just 5 meters from the house. The house is situated in Varbla, half-way between Pärnu and Haapsalu. Virtsu harbour with ferries to Saaremaa is just some 25 kilometers away. Pärnu is approximately 55 kilometer, just over half an hour by car. Tallinn is a bit further, some 1,5 hours.
The cottage is very pleasant in simple style – not very large but with all necessities. The house is located in a small cottage village with a character of fishing village. There is an all-purpose room with two sofa-beds for two people each, although one is only 1,80 meter and best suited for children. In the back of this room there’s a fireplace and a kitchen recess. Next to the all-purpose room there’s a bedroom with a double bed and direct exit to the roofed terrace with a splendid view of the sea. In the garden you find a barbeque and outdoor furniture. You can go swimming straight from the garden but the first half meter has a lot of pebble.
The cottage sits by a bay and across the bay, some 15 minutes walk away, there is the main building of a small recreational center. The advantage of this is that you have good service nearby. You can order food, buy basic foodstuff and supplies, participate in games and fun and rent sporting equipment or participate in boating trips. NB! The services mentioned here may not be available in autumn, winter, spring. NB! There is a small local road right behind the cottage, but it serves only the cottage village and has very little traffic.
There are many fine sights nearby, several mansions and a lot for those interested in nature, for instance Matsalu national park, famous for it’s birdlife. But most of all, you get the sea, with a wonderful sunset behind the low peninsula on the opposite side of the bay.
