Right by the sea, with a splendid view! A charming one-floor log cabin with the sea right in front of it. A rowing-bow is included in the rent. Situated in a quiet location right by a bay on Estonia’s west coast, where the sea winds will usually not reach you. Just 20 meters from the cottage you have a small, but almost private sand beach where the water is warmer than it usually is in the sea. The cottage has all comforts.
There is a sauna with shower and wc in the house, however with a separate entrance, so you must take a few steps outdoors to reach the only wc in the house. There’s an open plan solution for kitchen-living room and also two small bedrooms, both with double beds (and not room for much more). There are two sofas in the living-room, where children can sleep. There are also two real mattresses, with springs, available for putting on the living-room floor, quite comfortable. There is heating and insulation for comfortable living in the winter-time too and satellite-TV and internet.
A terrace is built in front of the house for your pleasure and just by the sea is a pavilion in which you can also barbeque, and enjoy the proximity of the sea even in rainy weather. In the garden there is garden furniture and a swing.
The house is situated in Varbla, half-way between Pärnu and Haapsalu. Virtsu harbor with ferries to Saaremaa is just some 25 kilometers away. Pärnu is approximately 55 kilometer, just over half an hour by car. Tallinn is a bit further, some 1,5 hours. The nearest „real“ store is situated 5 km from the cottage. There is a golf course 50 km away from the cottage and fishing is possible right outside the door or even better by rowing some distance. There are lots of sea-birds in this area.
There are many fine sights nearby, several mansions and a lot for those interested in nature, for instance Matsalu national park, famous for it’s birdlife, which is 15 km away. But most of all, you get the sea.
