Near a long strech of beautiful sand beach, claimed to have the warmest water in Estonia you find the recreational area of Häädemeeste. In Soviet times the area was considered so nice that the cosmonauts were sent here for recreation. The cottage is not very large, but very cosy and equipped with modern conveniences. In addition to the beds noted above, there are spare beds allowing 4 adults plus a child to sleep in relative comfort. 2 adults and 3 children will find it quite comfortable.
Staying in a developed recreational area has advantages, such as restaurants, miniature golf and other activities nearby. 200 meters from the cottage you find a snack bar and 2 km away there is a larger hotel with a good restaurant, miniature golf and a swimmingpool.
Day trips to Pärnu (50 km) and Riga (130 km) are recommended and nature-lovers find several nature reserves and Soomaa national park not far away. Bird-watchers will find Häädemeeste to be a suitable place for watching.
