This basic cottage with two identical rooms is located in the charming old resort of Haapsalu. The cottage is new. The room could be described as a hotel room with a garden, but there is also equipment for heating food and making coffee. If you rent both rooms, you may open the door between them. In front of the cottage there is a terrace and a nice garden, with barbeque and a party tent/roof. If you bring children, the owner will let you use an extra bed free of charge, and if you bring 2 children you may borrow a tent for them.
Haapsalu hosts several cultural and other events in the summertime, many of them with some connection to the castle. Haapsalu is situated on the shore of the Baltic sea with good opportunities for swimming. There is also a small, but interesting railway museum, well worth a visit. And since the Estonians have known for a long time how relaxing a Haapsalu vacation is, there are many activities for tourists and good restaurants. At the cottage you may rent bicycles.
Haapsalus is also an excellent choice for bird-lovers. Matsalu national park is situated some 20 km south of Haapsalu. In Matsalu 275 different spicies of birds have been observed. On Matsalu's homepage you find more information in English.

A spare bed can be ordered, if it doesn’t both you that the room will be somewhat crammed. Additional bed is free for children under the age of 12 and costs 7 EUR/night for adults.
