Felix guesthouse is located in southern Estonia, in the charming little town of Viljandi. The guesthouse sits in quiet area of private houses 1.5 kilometers from the center of town. There are eight rooms available, all with TV, WC, shower and internet connection. The rooms are different sizes – for one, two, three or four persons. You may also rent the entire house, it sleeps 19 people. In the common spaces you find a kitchen, a sauna and a laundry-room. There is a barbeque in the park-like garden and a nice terrace. A café, which also serves hot meals operates in the basement/terrace and is open every day.
500 meters from the house, in a pine grove there is a mill-pond where you may swim. Within walking distance there is a trout fond where you may catch the fish yourself and have it prepared for you. In the winter it is possible to put on skis and go skiing starting right in front of the house.
Viljandi is a very old town, once member of the Hanseatic league and was granted town-rights in 1283. Viljandi has a lot to offer those interested in culture. There are many festivals, the old music and folk music festivals have gained international attention and there is an International Amateur Theatre Festival in August. The well-preserved old town has a special charm where it sits on the hill down to the lake. On top of the highest peak, above the lake the castle ruins are impressive. Viljandi is a suitable base for discovering the rich cultural and natural heritage of southern Estonia.
