In the charming seaside resort of Parnu, we have the pleasure of offering this beautiful apartment in an historical house. The location could hardly be better, a fully renovated house by a quiet street in the center of town, just a kilometer from the wonderful white beach, which is one of the very best by the Baltic Sea. The distance to service and entertainment is insignificant. In the church 20 meters from the house they often offer conserts and the consert hall is just 200 meters from the house. A supermarket is some 400 meters away, but convienent stores are closer and the outdoor market is approximately 300 meters. The entire house is protected as historically important, it was built 1697-1705 as a post office. From year 1809 it was home to the print-house where Estonia’s first newspaper in Estonian language was printed. In course of the careful renovation a few years back, the exterior was completed according to drawings from 1919. The renovation has been made with the highest demands quality of work and materials. The 63 squaremeters are well utilized with living-room, bedroom and a combined kitchen/dining room. If you are four persons folding beds will be put in the apartment at no extra cost. All modern comforts are present, including floor heating in the bathroom. The apartment has its entrance from the courtyard, where you may also park you car behind a locked gate, at an additional cost. Final cleaning can be ordered and bedlinen/towels can be rented. The apartment owners have an office in the house and may help you out if necessary. There is an Internet connection in the apartment. Parking is possible in the locked back yard, but at an extra fee. Parnu is Estonia’s summer capital and is boiling with life in the summertime. The town is however as welcoming in the winter months when peace and quiet rule. The new water park is open all year together with most spas and baths. You probably did not know that in the 1930ies, Parnu was the mass tourism destination for the people of the Scandinavian countries becasue of it’s famous spas and beautiful beach. When staying in Pärnu it is easy to make a day-trip to Latvias capital of Riga, 175 kilometers one way. The distance to Tallinn is 130 kilometers.
